Understanding Kick follower-count availability

Kick does not expose follower totals consistently for every channel or API response. The tool reports the value when the platform supplies it and shows a clear limitation instead of inventing or estimating a number.

Setup

  1. Enter the public Kick channel slug.
  2. Check that the preview returns a follower total before adding it to a production scene.
  3. Copy the URL to OBS and choose a fallback graphic for unavailable periods.

Best practices

  • Do not use a cached screenshot as if it were live.
  • Add a label so the value is not confused with subscribers.
  • Review the tool after major Kick platform updates.

Troubleshooting

  • An availability message can be a platform limitation rather than a typo.
