AllStreamTools is an independent toolkit created by NodCodes for streamers who want focused OBS overlays without installing another desktop application or rebuilding a scene from scratch.
Why it exists
A viewer count, chat box, clock, or music label should be simple: configure the information, copy a URL, and add it to OBS as a Browser Source. Many streaming suites make that small task part of a much larger platform. AllStreamTools keeps each overlay independent so creators can use only what their scene needs.
How the tools are built
Overlays run in the browser engine already included with OBS. Configuration is encoded into the generated URL, while live tools request data from the relevant platform APIs. Transparent backgrounds, adjustable typography, and position controls make the same overlay usable across gameplay, talk-show, vertical, and IRL layouts.
Project principles
- Provide a useful free version of every core tool.
- Explain what an integration needs before asking for authorization.
- Keep generated overlays lightweight enough to leave running in an OBS scene.
- Document limitations honestly when a platform API cannot expose a metric.
- Make tools usable without an account whenever the underlying platform allows it.
